How do I see Facebook Status Updates?

With all the recent changes on Facebook, many people are feeling lost and confused! Facebook has recently moved many of their page links to new locations…

When you log in to your Facebook account, you see your “Newsfeed”, which shows posts from your friends and Pages that you like. Your newsfeed can get very cluttered with tagged photos, friend requests your friends have accepted and even pages and groups they have joined.

Make your life easier and find out what’s going on in your friend’s lives by just looking at the Status Updates they posted. This link was recently moved by Facebook and I get questions all the time, asking me where it went!

The link to the Status Updates has moved to the drop down menu under “Most Recent” at the top right of your newsfeed (see image below). Simply click on “Most Recent” and then click on the arrow to the right to view the drop down menu. Click on ‘Status Updates” to view only the recent status updates posted by your friends. This will make your Newsfeed much easier to read and navigate. (Note: To view your Newsfeed this way, you will have to repeat this every time you log in to Facebook. There is no way to set it as the default setting for your Newsfeed, sorry!).
